    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • The lighting fixtures have been replaced with acceptable fixtures. The following items are not required for initial approval to operate however they must be completed within 6 months.The walls are in disrepair. Repair and repaint the walls so they are smooth, nonporous and easily cleanable.The flooring is in disrepair. Repair or replace the flooring in the kitchen. Mar 4 - the walls and ceiling were in the process of being repaired during the inspection. All plastered areas must be finished and painted prior to using the kitchen for food service. Contractor indicated that they were on track to finish on time. The exterior door is taped due to gaps in the door. While this means it is now Pest proof, it is not a permanent fix. Remove the tape and repair the door.Some shelving is made with unsealed wood. Any shelving in the kitchen must be smooth, nonporous and easily cleanable. Either seal the shelving or replace with a more suitable shelf.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • As the facility is currently under construction there was drywall dust etc present. Discussed with the operator that the kitchen must be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after renovations are complete before any food handling occurs.

    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • A handwash sink must be installed prior to approval to operate will be granted.

      • The follow item must be completed prior to approval to operate is granted. The lighting is unprotected fluorescent bulbs.
