      • Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) A remote inspection of this premises was conducted by email on March 13, 2025. The operator advised on the status of outstanding violations from January 29, 2025 routine inspection and provided photos to show completed corrections. An on-site inspection was not conducted by the Environmental Health Officer.

    • 306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
      • Observation: 1) Based boards under the 3-compartment sink and the side of the cupboard to the left of the sink are bare wood. Surfaces in food preparation and storage areas must be smooth, impervious to moisture, easy to clean and non-toxic. 2) Metal shelves in the Coke cooler are rusted and have flaking paint, both of which may become dislodged and contaminated foods if this cooler is put into use. 3) Heat register under the 3-compartment sink is rusted and cannot be easily cleaned and the one under the Wolf stove appears to be coated with grease & grime.
      • Corrective Action: 1) Bare wood surfaces must be finished (e.g., painted) to provide a surface that's smooth, impervious to moisture, easy to clean and non-toxic. 2) Metal shelves in Coke cooler must be replaced or cleaned & refinished to provide a surface that's smooth, impervious to moisture, easy to clean and non-toxic. 3) Heat registers under the 3-compartment sink and Wolf stove must be replaced or cleaned and refinished to provide a surface that's smooth, impervious to moisture, easy to clean and non-toxic.
