    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • Homemade playdough was stuck on several rugs in the Panda, Scholar, and Dolphin rooms.REQUIREMENT: Clean these rugs in a manner that leave them visibly clean.
    • 29. Are washrooms / bathing facilities properly constructed, maintained and supplied (Non-Critical)?
      • The paper towel in the Panda and Scholar rooms was not inside a suitable dispenser. Both rooms place paper towel in open baskets, which leaves the bulk supply prone to be contaminated.In the Scholars room, several layers of paper towel from the top were water stained.REQUIREMENT: Replace the baskets and install paper towel dispensers which can fully encase a bulk supply.

    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • Scholar & Dinosaur room- the window safety guard affixed in-front of 2 windows were not fully pressurized and moved on pressure against bar. Corrected onsite. Ensure at all times the window safety bars are secure in-place with adequate pressure.
    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • Scholars and Dolphin room- diapering station had some debris on underside of diaper pad. Ensure after diapering, the diapering pad and surrounding areas are properly cleaned and disinfected. Refrain from storing containers of creams and ointments on diapering station unless its in a bin or container.
    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • Eaglet & Dinosaur room- handwashing stations have paper towels stored loosely in open containers. Provide a suitable dispenser for storing paper towels for the handsinks:1. Used by the children who are independently handwashing.2. For the handsinks adjacent to the diapering stations in the Scholar and Dolphin rooms
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • 1. Eaglet Room- no antibiotic ointment cream in kit2. Dolphin Room- Antiseptic wipes have expiry date of 2023-09-21. 3. Panda Room- No forceps in kit
