- Observation(s): Observed a pet cat walking around the tasting room, including the bar area and counter tops. Operator noted that customers also bring in their pet dogs. Please note that animals are only permitted within food premises if they are present as a guide or service dog &/or if an EHO determines that the animal will not pose a risk of a health hazard occurring. As discussed while onsite, although there is no food service other than tasting of cider brewed onsite, please ensure that animals, other than guide or service dogs, are not permitted within the Scenic Rd Cider Co tasting room until/unless a plan for permitting pet dogs is reviewed and approved by Interior Health. Please submit a plan/request for EHO review & approval for permitting pet dogs within the Scenic Road Cider Co tasting room. Within this request, please include updates to your sanitation plan, facility layout/construction, or any other pieces of information necessary to support separation between the bar & service area. Also as discussed, the open bar concept as designed will require changes to prevent dogs from entering behind the bar and, the cleanability of the raw wood bar floor will require improvements.

- Observation(s): As discussed, please clean the tasting room floor and provide a more cleanable/tight fitting floor surface behind the bar area.
