- The operator was reusing single-use spoolies. Single-use items cannot be adequately cleaned or disinfected and must be discarded after each use to prevent possible transmission of infections. Ensure single-use items are discarded after each use. The operator discarded the used spoolies at the time of the inspection.
- 26. Are cosmetic products appropriate for their intended use and being handled properly?
- There was a hair strand observed on the perimeter of the wax pot warmer. When portioning the bulk supply, it must be done in a manner that protects the bulk from contamination. That is, using a clean tool to remove a portion of the supply and refrain from "double-dipping".
