- Antiseptic wipes without a Drug Identification Number (DIN) or Natural Product Number (NPN) were observed on site.Obtain and use antiseptic wipes that have a valid DIN or NPN.
- 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this personal services facility (Critical)?
- 1. A prescription dose of lidocaine, prescribed to Gedlaman Twyla (owner of the facility), was found on-site for use during services.Discontinue the use of the indicated prescription lidocaine for client services. Prescription medications may only be used if they are specifically prescribed to the facility and authorized for use in procedures under a valid medical directive. Alternatively obtain topical anesthetics authorized for over the counter (OTC) use.2. Staff informed the inspector that Concept Myriade Anti-Aging and Repair Serum is being applied during microneedling procedures. The product does not have a Drug Identification Number (DIN) or Natural Product Number (NPN). Discontinue the aforementioned product. Only products with a valid DIN or NPN and manufacturer’s instructions indicating suitability for intradermal use may be used.
