- 19(2)(a) A food establishment must provide all of the following in accordance with applicable legislation or as considered acceptable by the Administrator:
(a) a supply of potable hot and cold water at adequate pressure and volume with the appropriate facilities to store and distribute the water and to control the water temperature;
- Water test results show presence of bacteria, is not considered potable. Facility must follow boil water advisory precautions. After planned disinfection, submit two samples showing absence of bacteria taken 24hrs apart and at least 5 days after system has been flushed of chlorine in accordance with guidance document provided. A UV light or other treatment system may be required if water supply demonstrates pattern of failed bacteria testing.

- Test your water for microbiological parameters at an accredited laboratory, and provide a copy of the report to demonstrate that your supply is potable.
