- 02. Has the operator notified the RHA of the existence of a personal service business, including contact and location information, as well as all personal services currently offered or new personal services that will be offered for facilities and/or special events?
- Facility moved without notifying AHS. Submit a new personal services notification form as soon as possible.
- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- Written procedures and monitoring when cleaning and disinfecting equipment with a high level disinfectant were not available during the inspection. Procedures for using high level disinfectants must be available and conform with manufacturers guidelines. Records of testing the concentration of high level disinfectants daily, when the high level disinfectant was changed and contact time for disinfection must be available for review.
- 33. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this personal services facility (Non-Critical)?
- Some Preempt concentrate and wipes are past the expiry date for use. These products should be discarded, however staff requested to still use them for spot cleaning the floor. If they remain in the facility they must be clearly marked as expired and not for use on equipment or for any disinfection purposes.
