- 07. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Critical)?
- 1) Chemicals/cleaners were stored above food on shelves. Please either relocate chemicals to separate shelf or store on shelves below food.2) There were other food items (open box/bag of food) stored among foods for hampers in the freezer as other groups had access into freezer. Please separate food storage between foods for general church use and food for food hampers. Recommend providing separate freezer for other church use.

- A thermometer was not provided to monitor foods stored in the freezer. Please obtain.
- 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
- Mouse droppings were noted along the walls, under shelving units, and inside storage cupboards in the food hamper storage room. Please clean and sanitize areas contaminated by droppings. Implement pest control measures in area.
