      • PreEmpt CS 20, PreEmpt RTU and lysol wipes are used throughout the facility. PreEmpt CS 20 test strips are available but are not being used properly. Reusable high-level disinfectant (HLD) must be tested daily to confirm its minimum effective concentration (MEC).
    • 29. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained to allow for the safe and sanitary provision of personal services (Non-Critical)?
      • The waxing bed is ripped at the seams and is in disrepair. Please repair/replace this to ensure it is smooth, impervious to moisture and easily cleanable.

    • 29. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained to allow for the safe and sanitary provision of personal services (Non-Critical)?
      • One pedicure chair seat cushion is in disrepair.- Please repair or replace this so that it is smooth, non-porous, and easily cleanable.- The Owner noted that the cushion is on order and will be replaced soon and the one pedicure chair will not be in use until repaired.

      • Facility did not have written procedure for "Client care in the event of an accidental skin cut or puncture".- Reviewed and provided Owner with a copy of the AHS written procedures which include the one for "Client care in the event of an accidental skin cut or puncture".
    • 26. Are cosmetic products appropriate for their intended use and being handled properly?
      • Many products are being reportioned out from bulk bottles into smaller bottles that are not labeled.- Please ensure all chemicals/cosmetic products are labelled appropriately.
