      • In the Deli, there is a pest control device installed on a wall above a food prep counter where a microwave is.- Please ensure the pest control device is moved to an area that is not adjacent to a food related area.OR- Please ensure the area below the pest control device is designated as an area not related to food activity (food handling, prep, storage, etc.)
    • 18. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this food facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Wet cloths were being stored on the edge of the sink in the bakery area.- These were moved during the inspection.- Educated manager that handwashing sinks must only be used for handwashing.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • A scoop for a dry ingredient in the bakery was being stored on the lid of the container.- This was removed during the inspection.- Educated operator to ensure scoops are stored in a sanitary manner.- Some options include storing the scoop in an external container or storing the scoop in the product with the handle not in contact with the food item.
