- Observation(s): At the time of inspection, plastic cutting boards affixed to the moveable island are starting to show wear and have several deep grooves. These grooves prevent adequate cleaning and sanitizing of these food contact surfaces. • Replace the counter-top plastic cutting boards with smooth, durable, easily cleanable food contact cutting boards or surfaces.

- Observation(s): Boil Water Advisory in effect on surface water treatment system until upgrades to the treatment are being completed. Operator explained that due to covid, plumber who installed the system hasn't been able to assist them with completing Construction Permit Application, yet. This water system is regulated under the BC Drinking Water Act and its Regulation, and for surface water source the 4-3-2-1-0 objective must be achieved for treatment. Operator is using water from commercial source for preparations and bottled water is being sourced for the purposes of weddings. Water from the treatment system is only used for sanitation purposes. Discussed that all taps must be clearly posted with the do not drink sign.
