- Operator indicated antiseptic is not being used after cleansing step prior to microblading and microneedling procedures. Antiseptic onsite did not have a DIN or NPN. - Operator obtained benzalkonium chloride antiseptic wipes with DIN during inspection to be used prior to providing services that puncture the skin.

- Metal microdermabrasion end pieces reported to be cleaned with solution labelled as an antiseptic with no DIN or NPN.- Ensure non-critical equipment is cleaned and then disinfected with a low level disinfectant at minimum. Operator agreeable to clean and then disinfect equipment with Barbicide onsite.

- Expired microneedle cartridges and microblade cartridges were noted in storage in the second right clinic room on entry. - Ensure all purchased pre-sterilized critical equipment is not expired as per the manufacturer's expiry date. Operator discarded expired microneedle cartridges and microblades in the sharps container available.

- Manufacturer's instructions for use were not readily avalable for the HydraBeauty device and Nu Body Dermalase IPL device (Licence No.: 85911). Operator reported HydraBeauty device is not currently in use. - Ensure manufacturer's instructions for use for energy-emitting equipment are reviewed and readily available to the personal services worker operating equipment.
