      • Written procedures for cleansing of skin and client care in case of accidental cut and puncture were not available.

      • A contaminated semi-critical tool (Nail clipper) containing nails was stored in the service area. Ensure contaminated equipment is stored completely separate from clean equipment.

      • - High level disinfectants are not being tested and verified daily using proper test strips. The operator needs to acquire indicator test strips.Ensure the high-level disinfectant is tested daily using the test strips specified by the disinfectant manufacturer.- Disinfection records were not available. Ensure records are kept of: test dates, whether the solution passed/failed, when the disinfectant was changed and the worker’s initials who performed the activity.
