      • -Change pads were installed on counter tops with nothing to keep them from sliding out of place. Change pads should have a barrier built around them to prevent them from sliding

      • -The glitter paint in the Toddler Room was not labelled non-toxic. Please ensure only non-toxic paints ad glues are used.

      • -Change pads were installed on counter tops with nothing to keep them from sliding out of place. Change pads should have a barrier built around them to prevent them from sliding

      • -Cleaning checklists in the Baby Room were not being filled out. Please ensure cleaning checklists are filled out daily.

    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • - In the infant room, the diapering pad has no straps to ensure the child is securely positioned to minimizing the risk of falls. - Please ensure safety straps are acquired to promote safe diapering.
    • 17. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Critical)?
      • - In the toddler room, the diapering mat is showing signs of wear. The diapering mat is heavily stained and has tears and rips.Please replace the diapering mat to ensure a safe and sanitary diapering surface.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • - In the washroom shared by the toddler and preschool room, the toilet seats are in disrepair. The toilet seat coating is peeling and exposing the under surface. Please ensure the seats are replaced to promote adequate cleaning and disinfection of the toilet seat surface.
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • - In the toddler room, bibs are being stored above the handwash sink in close proximity to potential back splash that can contaminate the bibs. The staff were informed to remove the bibs from above the handwashing sink to minimize the risk of contamination.
    • 31. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Critical)?
      • - In the OSC room, bleach solution has a concentration of 50 ppm. The staff were informed that the bleach solution requires a minimum concentration of 100 ppm and to remake the solution to ensure adequate disinfection of general surfaces.
