A child's hands were not washed immediately after the diaper change; the child was allowed to wander around, putting unwashed hands on classroom surfaces before handwashing. This occurred while caregiver was busy clearing the diapering surface and area.Action Required:-Review diaper handwashing procedures with all staff members.-Ensure children's hands are properly washed immediately after diaper changes and that they are either led out of the washroom or handed over to another staff member.-Staff members must also properly wash their hands after clearing and cleaning the diapering surface and area.2.
