      • The chlorine sanitizing solution present was at 1000ppm. A new solution of 100ppm was made up.Please use the chlorine test strips frequently to verify concentration.

    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • -The front and back exit doors on the main floor had large gaps along the bottom. These may allow for pests to enter the building. The doors must be provided with proper seals so that when they are fully closed, there is no visible light shining in. Received pictures showing areas with droppings were cleaned.

      • Boxes of drinks and syrup were stored on the floor in the storage room.Please raise food items such as boxes of drinks and syrup off the floor to allow for easier cleaning, to prevent further contamination of the boxes and to prevent attracting pests.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • -The front and back exit doors on the main floor had large gaps along the bottom. These may allow for pests to enter the building. The doors must be provided with proper seals so that when they are fully closed, there is no visible light shining in. -Some mouse droppings were found behind the deep freezer on the main floor. Have this area cleaned and organized and remove the mouse droppings using appropriate personal protective equipment.
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • An invoice will be e-mail to you. Follow the instructions on how to pay. Once payment is received, the Food Handling Permit will be e-mailed to you. Print this off and post it in an area visible to patrons.
