- 04. Is the chemical quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Critical)?
- The pH measured 7.89 from the pool basin and 7.73 from the controller. Rebalance the pool chemistry so that the pH is maintained between 6.8 to 7.6.
- 04. Is the chemical quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Critical)?
- The FAC was measured at 0.35 ppm from the pool basin and 0.27 ppm from the controller. Rebalance the pool chemistry so that FAC is maintained at minimum 2.0 ppm or above. It's recommended to keep FAC around 3-4 ppm to buffer against bathers.
- 05. Is the chemical quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Non-Critical)?
- The alkalinity measured 52 ppm from the basin and 41 ppm from the controller. Rebalance the pool chemistry and maintain the alkalinity between 60 -180 ppm.
- 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
- The operator's weekly water test records from June 1-9 and June 9-14, 2026 show that when the FAC was <0.5 ppm and/or pH was above 7.8 no noted actions were documented in the written records. The chemical controller does not appear to be making the required chemical changes to maintain the pool in range. Contact a pool service provider to check the chemical controller and ensure that the chemical controller and the feed equipment is in good working order. Provide copies of the reports from service calls.
- 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
- The chemical controller was reading a pH of 7.45 and the manual readings from the controller was 7.73. Service the chemical controller so the manual and automated controller readings are consistent.
- 16. Are proper testing, monitoring, and other records being properly maintained?
- The operators pool test kit was in disrepair, and the operator was not following manufactures requirements to obtain chemical testing results. - The cuvette was scratched and discolored.- Reagents appeared to be compromised. Tablets were observed to be discolored and broken after opening two of the foiled packaging.- The pool test kit was also not updated with the most recent firmware to ensure proper operation. - Disposable wooden chopsticks were used for crushing reagents. Please update the testing device and obtain the necessary equipment to ensure accurate testing can be completed.

- Microbiological water samples have not been collected since July 13, 2023.Proper water sampling bottles were not available.
- 06. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Critical)?
- The automated controller was in alarm indicating water chemical balance issues - pool chemicals were allegedly being hand fed while the automated controller was in disrepair.Pool chemicals for pH and/or alkalinity had run out and the chemical drums were empty at the time of inspection.
- 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
- 1 of the 4 filters was isolated from the system due to a leak. Advised pool operator to repair or replace filter and bring online as the system is operating at the maximum allowable flow rating for the filters (450 GPM). It is advised that the system is not operated in this configuration for extended periods of time to avoid wear and deterioration of the filters.
- 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
- A floating weir was missing from the skimmer. The automated controller was in alarm indicating water chemical balance issues. The automated controller readings were observed at pH: 7.90 and ORP: 503 mV.
- 15. Has an owner or owner's agent, if any, been identified and is the pool operated and maintained by a qualified pool operator?
- There is no certified pool operator.
- 16. Are proper testing, monitoring, and other records being properly maintained?
- Proper testing and monitoring is not being properly maintained. There are gaps and/or missing information in documentation. Chemical parameters are not being monitored as previously requested by the Public Health Inspector. Anti-entrapment measures are not being monitored daily as required. The documentation is unorganized and records prior to Sept 4, 2023 were not easily accessible and therefore could not be reviewed. Details outlining actions taken including dates/quantities of chemical addition was not being properly recorded.
- 17. Does the pool have adequate written policies, plans and posted rules and safety information to ensure that the pool is operating in a safe manner?
- The anti-entrapment plan is unorganized and it could not be confirmed that all the required information was present.
