      • The garbage bins were also noted without covers.-Please ensure proper management of waste and provide suitable garbage bin covers.

    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • 1. Dirty and torn diapering mats observed in baby's room washroom.-Please clean and replace the indicated diapering mats with ones with smooth, non-absorbent and easy to clean surface.2. Sanitizer concentration, bleach solution, was inadequate to properly sanitize surface, measured at 50ppm during the inspection.-Prepare and use 100-200ppm of bleach to properly clean and sanitize facility's surface and equipment. Ensure to monitor its adequacy daily with suitable test strip.This infraction was corrected during the inspection.
    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • Peeling paint on walls was observed in most classrooms including baby, classrooms 2 and 3.-Please repaint these walls to ensure good repair.

      • Couple of fruit flies were observed in baby and classroom 3's washrooms during the inspection. The garbage bins were also noted without covers.-Please ensure proper management of waste and provide suitable garbage bin covers.
    • 17. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Critical)?
      • Washroom floor, walls and inside cabinets were observed laden with old and crustily dirt particles. This was noted in baby and classroom 3.-Please deep clean and sanitize the indicated areas to ensure sanitary condition.
    • 20. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Non-Critical)?
      • Dirty indoor play equipment were observed in baby's room.-Please clean and sanitize these play equipment to ensure sanitary condition.
    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • Ineffective caulking was observed around most of the facility's washroom hand sinks.-Please apply fresh silicon sealant around the indicated areas to prevent water infiltration.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Some children's water bottles were noted without name tags.-Please ensure all children's water bottles are labelled with their names to prevent misuse.

      • In Classroom 5, disinfectant wipes were present in a cabinet beneath the main sink with no locking mechanism.The operator moved the Lysol wipes to an upper shelf.-Please ensure that the hazardous chemicals like Lysol are kept out of reach of children.
    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • In Classroom 4, the bleach spray bottle was on the counter beside the diapering station, within reach of children. -Please ensure that the bleach solution is out of reach of the children.
    • 24. Are sleeping supplies and areas sufficient to ensure client safety and comfort (Non-Critical)?
      • In classroom 1, two mattresses were stacked on top of one another with bedding in contact with each other.-Please ensure that the beddings are not touching on another to protect the beddings from getting contaminated.
