- Used single use nail buffers were observed at the manicure stations. The staff discarded the buffers during inspection. Please ensure single use items are discarded immediately after use and not re-used.

- It was observed that rubbing alcohol was being used to disinfect clippers. The operator was advised to acquire a proper disinfectant with low contact time. Different types of disinfectant were discussed with the operator during the inspection. The contact time for any disinfectant obtained must be maintained at all times. Note that if preempt CS20 must be used as a disinfectant, 20minutes contact time must be maintained.

- The handwashing sink at the front area was also being used for washing color mixing bowls. The staff stated that the washroom hand sink will used for handwashing moving forward and a no handwashing sign placed at the hand sink at the front area.

- Some beddings were being re-used for the client bed in the spa/waxing rooms. The staff was advised to use beddings as single use on the non-absorbent bed.Please note that the client bed must also be disinfected in-between client use.
