      • Not sampling for bacteriological water analysis - should be carried out on a quarterly basis throughout the year to ensure the water is "potable" (e.g. - safe for human consumption).
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • Please ensure to print + post the valid Food Handling Permit - either in the office or in the processing area and enclosed in a glass frame or laminated.

    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • 1) Stainless steel hand sinks are required in the washroom and also in the area outside of the washroom for Staff hand washing. Also ensure that the hand washing stations are supplied with liquid soap and paper towel dispensers and ideally should be mounted on the wall for easy access.2) Mop sink with a backflow prevention device is required to facilitate the cleaning of the flooring finish inside the building - noted that there also a floor drainage/grate system in place where grey waste water can also be used to dispose of waste water.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Metal rodent traps would be encouraged to be purchased and installed at all door entrances for pest management.
