- 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
- Observed expired 2022 - 2023 Food Handling Permit taped to the kitchen door.Apparently did not receive the 2023 - 2024 food handling permit and will need to reach out to our Red Deer Office to facilitate the issuing of this food permit and email to the contact person for the church. As discussed, please enclose in a glass frame (once new one is received) and post on outside wall of kitchen facility to ensure it is in full view of members/public.
- 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
- Discussed the peeling paint in the walk-in cooler via phone with the Church and was informed that this required work should be completed sometime in June 2023.Once all completed, please reach out to our Department so a final re-inspection can be carried out to verify this required work is complete.Update on March 13, 2024: above is not resolved - have reached out to a paint company in Camrose for consultation on the next step to complete this required work - pending.
