      • -the lighting provided in the ventilation canopy was dim. Brighter lighting would be better-one bulb was not covered by a shatter resistant covering. Please provide a shatter resistant cover

      • -hand sink in the kitchen was obstructed. The sink was free of items being stored in the sink. The garbage can was not in the way either. The obstruction was that today the cook had cleaned the deep fryer and a large pot of used oil was obstructing access to the hand sink

      • -pest control monitoring records were not in place. Please keep these up to date

      • -Fries were blanched and being stored at room temperature. Worker put these in the refrigerator. Please ensure food is stored at 4C or less
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • -Garbage can was pushed over towards handsink. A cloth was stored in the handsink. Both obstructed the sink. These two items along with the general tight access to this sink have combined to make this sink deemed obstructed.-Staff reported that to get between the counter and the garbage, the can will inevitably be pushed over towards the sink. To prevent the can from getting pushed towards the sink and obstructing the sink perhaps the can needs to be secured to the wall. If the garbage can edge is even with the wall opening then the garbage can is not deemed to be obstructing the sink
