- 13. Is single-use or uncleanable equipment being used as intended (Critical)?
- There was a large cabinet on the north wall containing previously used items saved for repeat clients. This type of activity is not permitted. Single-use tools must be discarded after each use. Single-use tools include but are not limited to: pumice stones, emery files, buffing blocks, toe separators, cardboard covers for nail drill bits etc.
- 26. Are cosmetic products appropriate for their intended use and being handled properly?
- Dispensed cosmetic products were labelled upon request at the time of inspection. Ensure decanted cosmetic products are labelled with its contents. The original/bulk supply must be labelled with product identity, manufacturer, directions for use and/or list of ingredients.
