      • Written procedure for cleansing of skin was not available.The written procedure was reviewed with the operator.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • - Non-critical equipment (facial steamer) was not being adequately cleaned and disinfected. The steamer was not cleaned properly and seemed to be contaminated with floating residues.The operator was advised to clean and disinfect the steamer according to the manufacturer's instructions (using vinegar).

      • Steps are not being taken to protect the contamination of the bulk supply of wax. A re-usable metal applicator was being used. The operator was informed of the repeated violation and was directed to use only single-use wood sticks available in the facility.
