      • 1. Instruments are cleaned with water only. Reusable instruments must be cleaned with detergent and water to effectively remove debris.2. Rinsed instruments are not thoroughly dried before disinfecting in HLD5. Please ensure all water residue is removed before disinfecting in the HLD5 as water residue could potentially dilute the disinfectant and reduce its efficacy.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • HLD5 is tested with HP test strips that only go up to 100ppm. Please obtain appropriate test strip to test the HLD5 for reuse. Record test result daily when the disinfectant is used within the 14 days reusable period.
