    • 04. Does the operator use approved methods for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces?
      • - At time of inspection observed that sanitizer solution was ~50ppm Chlorine solution (weak).- Solution was remixed and tested at between 100 to 200ppm Chlorine.- Chlorine based sanitizer solution is to be maintained between 100 to 200ppm at all times while program in operation.

    • 04. Does the operator use approved methods for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces?
      • Bleach solution used in the kitchen area was found to be highly concentrated.Solution was diluted.Make sure that sanitizing solution is maintained at 100 ppm.Note: Test strips for bleach solution were not present in kitchen area.
    • 08. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • Observation was made during the inspection that laundry area was located right next to kitchen with no door or wall separating the kitchen and laundry area. Please make sure that laundry area is separated from the kitchen area by either installing a door or moving the laundry area to other place.
    • 11. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Critical)?
      • Hi temperature dish washer took three runs to reach the temperature of 71 degrees C or above.Discussed with the staff to check the temperatures on routine basis and re-run the dishwasher until it reaches the temperature of 71 degrees C at plate level.Contact the service technician if the problem persists.
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • During the inspection observations were made regarding the facility permit to be valid for "Minimal food handling only".Facility was observed to be doing the "Extensive handling of food".Kindly note that facility kitchen does not meet the requirements for "Extensive food handling"Facility permit is upgraded to "limited food handling only" only with restrictions of " No frying or grease producing cooking" as kitchen does not have a commercial exhaust hood canopy.Note: Kindly update your menu and food handling practices to reflect the change.
