      • Baby room: diaper change pad torn Diaper pad can not be properly cleaned and disinfected when in such a condition. Replace with a durable and easy to clean diaper change pad.

      • Exterior building within yard area: There were various openings including ventilation ones that had birds nesting within them Once the birds have fledged, the cavies must be cleaned up and sealed off. Examine the entire exteriorThe system will benefit from HVAC cleaning.

    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • The bulk paper towel roll was being handled per diaper change at the diaper station. The staff was unable to open the dispenser to put the roll in. Ensure the key is available/staff is aware how to install paper towel into the dispenser for proper routine use after handwashing.

      • There was no bleach in reach of the diapering area. Staff found a bottle, almost empty around the corner at eating area.

      • 1. The diaper pad was torn and mended with clear tape - replace with a diapering pad that is smooth and easy to keep clean 2. There were two baskets with children's personal diapering items sitting on the diaper pad - keep personal items in the storage area below, put away when diapering is complete per child.
