Willow Place has been inspected 6 times by Interior Health Authority since March 30, 2017. The most recent inspection, on January 29, 2026, recorded 1 infraction.
1 of 6 inspections on record found no infractions at all. In the past 12 months there was 1 inspection with 1 infraction recorded. All recorded findings relate to upkeep, equipment or paperwork rather than direct health risks.

What these findings mean
Health authorities word their findings differently, so we group them by what they mean for the people in care. Higher-risk findings are the ones that could directly make someone sick, and they matter more here because young children, older adults and people who are unwell are more vulnerable to infection.
Permits, records and postingLower risk
Operating permits, required signage, written procedures and logs. These findings are administrative: the documentation was missing or out of date at the time of inspection.
Recorded 5 times across 3 separate inspections, most recently on December 18, 2019. For example:
RB1.25 - Are care plans developed within 30 days of admission for admissions of 30 days or more?
Other findingsLower risk
Findings that do not fit the categories above, such as follow-ups that confirm an earlier violation was corrected, or requirements specific to this type of facility.
Recorded 3 times across 3 separate inspections, most recently on January 29, 2026. For example:
1 - Does the facility provide food services which meet nutritional needs and preferences for persons in care?

- R5.1 - Does the facility provide food services which meet nutritional needs and preferences for persons in care?
- Observation(s): The menu/food served documentation did not consistently show what food people in care were eating. Some dates were noted to be blank or indicate nothing was served. One record reflected a sandwich was served for lunch for a few days in a row. There was no indication of what type of sandwich was eaten. Without records of what proteins, vegetables or starches are begin served it is difficult to ascertain if there is a variety of foods being served or if it meets the nutritional plans of persons in care. Submit by February 13, 2026, a written plan outlining how you will ensure the menu/food served is documented. The plan must include the system you will implement to support ongoing monitoring to ensure sustained compliance.
