- Observation: During the inspection, it was noted that the back door has a slight gap at the bottom. Public health significance,the gap beneath the back door may pose a public health risk by potentially allowing pests to enter,which may lead to contamination of food and food contact surfaces within the facility.
- Corrective Action: The operator is advised to seal the gap at the bottom of the back door to eliminate the potential entry point for pests.

- 209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
- Observation: Scoops are left in ice at the time of inspection. Scoop handles must be kept free from the product to prevent hand contact and contamination ice, ready to eat product. (Public Health Significance) Improper scoop storage exposes items to bare hand contact and potential contamination which may lead to foodborne illnesses.
- Corrective Action: Store scoops so that ice / foods are not exposed to the handles or bare hand contact. Store food scoops in a sanitary manner and clean and sanitize them regularly.
- 302 - Critical Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
- Observation: Inadequate sanitizing rinse solution at the time of inspection the sanitizer refill container was almost empty. Operator uses Ecolab products, test strip available but no sanitizer detected even after replacing the empty pail with a new sanitizer bucket. (Public Health significance) - Automatic dish washers must provide a minimum concentration of sanitizer as required to effectively sanitize dishware, 100 ppm chlorine or 200 ppm quaternary ammonium (quats) recommended.
- Corrective Action: Immediately initiate hand sanitizing providing a 200 ppm sanitizer soak for 2 minutes for all dish ware. Have the dishwasher repaired by a qualified technician and monitor and log sanitizer concentration regularly so you know when the unit needs adjustment or repair.
- 502 - In operator’s absence, no staff on duty has FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent [s. 10(2)]
- Observation: No staff had FoodSafe training at the time of inspection.
- Corrective Action: Food handlers with FOODSAFE training must be present during operation.

- Observation: The back door bottom has an opening on the right bottom seem of the door that may allow entrance of pests into the building. Public Health Significance, pest may cross contaminant food and cause food borne illnesses.
- Corrective Action: Cover and block any openings into the building that may allow pests to enter the building.
- 308 - Repeat Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
- Observation: Walk-in freezer unit floor buckles when walked/stepped on.
- Corrective Action: Ensure that all food contact surfaces are smooth, non-absorbent and easy to clean, including the walk in freezer.

- Observation: ceiling tiles dirty and dusty from exhaust system.
- Corrective Action: Clean and or replace ceiling tiles clean exhaust system to prevent dust from dropping into food.

- Observation: Walkin freezer floor buckles when stepped on. Needs to be repaired Ice build up on floor and racks needs to be defrosted/removed
