- 21. Is equipment that is intended to be sterile maintained sterile at the point of use?
- Neuromodulators are drawn up into syringes for the day for each client and stored in a labelled container in the refrigerator until use that day. Corrective action:Sterile needles, syringes or other sterile injection equipment must be maintained sterile at the point of use by only opening sterile packages immediately prior to use.
- 26. Are cosmetic products appropriate for their intended use and being handled properly?
- There were a few vials of product found in the refrigerator that were expired.Corrective Action:Please ensure all cosmetic products that are for use on clients/stored in the refrigerator are up to date and properly dated and labelled. The operator discarded the vials immediately.
