- 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
- Flow rate was increased by the pool operator from cleaning the filter cartridges. Flow was up to 105 GPM. While this is an improvement please note that the flow is still not in compliance. The pool can operate at this flow rate subject to receipt and installation of the new pump to address this deficiency. Based on previous correspondence from the board and pool service company a new pump is on order and will be installed once received this season.

- 04. Is the chemical quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Critical)?
- pH was out of range. A manual pH test from the pool and controller noted pH of 6.62 and 6.65 respectfully. Operator stated that they noted the system was syphoning acid from the tank when the pump was not operational. Operator and condo board has contacted the pool service provider to check the chemical system and ensure the system is working correctly. Provide confirmation that the pH system has been checked and is working correctly.

- The flow rate for the pool is below the minimum flow required to achieve a 4 hour turnover period. Condo board has approved a quote to install a new pump during this season to hopefully address the issue. Until that time the pool must be maintained at the highest flow rate possible along with maintaining satisfactory, chemical, microbiological and physical water. Operator has been able to achieve flow of at least 90 GPM with the current pump.

- 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
- June 12, 2025: Flow rate was 90GPM and it was determined the pump was on too low of a speed. Increased from speed 1 to 4. Flow rate was increased to 105GPM onsiteFlow rate was optimized at 110 GPM after clean filters installed in system. Pool still requires a flow of 127 GPM for compliance of turnovers. Pool service provider has been contacted to follow up and investigate further options to address.

- Flow rate of the system was 90 GPM. Minimum flow rate for the system to achieve a 4 hour turnover must be at least 127 GPM. Operator contacted pool service provider to look into drop in flow rate of the system.

- The pressure gauge on the cartridge filter is not working correctly. The needle on the gauge is caught on indicator needles on the gauge. Please repair or replace the gauge so as to determine pressure rise for determining when cartridges need to be cleaned.
