  1. Monitoring

    5 infractions

    • F2.1 Does the facility have proper monitoring supplies?
      • Observation(s): • Chlorine sanitizer test strips required to monitor sanitizer in buckets. Contact your supplier to order, Health Officer will also provide link to test strips and vendors. To be supplied on or before date noted. • Thermometers located in units, probe thermometers provided onsite.
      • F2.1A Sanitizer test strips must be available for each chemical sanitizer used at the premises.
    • F2.5 Are the premises and equipment properly maintained and operated in a sanitary manner (i.e. ongoing maintenance)?
      • Observation(s): • Heat sanitizing dishwasher - although the temperature at the dish surface was noted to be acceptable (approx. 71C on thermometer and >71C on TempRite Colour Indicator), the outside final rinse gauge was not reaching the required 82C (71C is allowed at dish surface and the gauge/manifold temp must be 82C). Have the dishwasher serviced to ensure final rinse gauge reaches a minimum of 82C. In the interim, staff can use the internal probe thermometer as discussed to ensure that the 71C is being met. Health Officer will also supply information on colour indicators that can be attached to dishes to verify temperature. • 1x prep cooler to be serviced as discussed with staff. Items to be completed on or before date noted.
      • F2.5A All equipment, utensils and food contact surfaces used on the premises must be kept in good working order to ensure the sanitary handling of food.
    • F2.7 Are there handwashing stations available and properly supplied?
      • Observation(s): • Paper towel required at front servery sink(s). Paper towel to be supplied on a dispenser/holder (not loose roll) • Paper towel was located beside hand sink in kitchen, but not in dispenser. Please use paper towel in dispenser or holder (not loose roll).
    • F3.3 Are written food handling procedures (Food Safety Plan) current and available on site?
      • Observation(s): • Temperature logs have been started for coolers and freezers, the following are to be added as discussed: hot holding logs (for gravy and any other items that are held hot >2 hours), cooling logs for batches of items that are cooked, and then may be cooled and used a second final time (things like soups, gravy). Health Officer supplied additional templates for staff to use for temperature logging of various items. Provide copies of temperature logs on date noted.
      • F3.3C Written food handling procedures must identify all critical control points.
    • F3.4 Are written sanitation procedures (Sanitation Plan) current and available on site?
      • Observation(s): • Health Officer supplied dishwasher logs. Please begin logging final rinse temperature at least 1x daily. As the final rinse gauge is not reading 82C at this time, please use the probe thermometer as discussed during inspection or purchase colour indicator strips to verify 71C at the dish surface until gauge function is restored.
  2. Monitoring

    3 infractions

    • F2.2 Are proper pest control measures in place on the premises?
      • Observation(s): • Dead beetles and flies were observed behind the stand-up refrigerator unit. The premises must be maintained free of pests and appropriate pest control measures must be taken. • Back door was observed open at time of inspection. The screen door contains a tear; thus not protecting against the entry of pests. The door must be repaired or replaced.
      • F2.2B The premises must be protected against entry of pests.
      • F2.2C The premises must be maintained free of pests.
    • F2.5 Are the premises and equipment properly maintained and operated in a sanitary manner (i.e. ongoing maintenance)?

Menu Favorites: What an unexpected gem in the middle of nowhere. Jalapeno poppers, sizzling fresh. Fish and Chips, sent us straight back to London. Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo, rich and creamy and smooth. Grilled Cheese Sandwich, butter toasted and crisp. Everything we ordered was simply delicious and prepared with a ton of love. Staff: Friendly and welcoming. Ambiance: Diner with seating for all group sizes and a pool table to boot.

52 Ridge Restaurant and Pub Review – Hidden Gem Worth the Drive If you’re looking for a **hidden gem restaurant near me** that doesn’t even show up properly on Google Maps yet, **52 Ridge Restaurant and Pub** is the place you’re searching for. From the first bite, the food was **bursting with flavor**. The pasta I ordered had the perfect **zing and spice**, the kind of rich, layered taste that lingers in your mouth in the best way possible. I actually didn’t want to drink anything just so I wouldn’t disturb that incredible aftertaste. This is **comfort food with gourmet-level flavor**, and it’s clear the kitchen knows exactly what they’re doing. 52 Ridge isn’t just about the food, though—it’s a **true family-friendly pub and restaurant** with something for everyone: - A **sports bar vibe** with TVs to watch all the big games - A **pool table** for casual hangs - An **arcade room** that brings out the kid in you (and keeps actual kids happy, too) - A **water pool** that practically begs for cannon balls in the summer - And a warm, relaxed atmosphere that makes it perfect for **date night, family dinners, and group outings** Don’t skip dessert. They feature **locally made desserts** that are either sinfully rich or light and heavenly—either way, they’re unforgettable and the perfect way to end your meal. If you’re searching online for: - **best local restaurants** - **family-friendly pub with pool and arcade** - **sports bar with great food** - **hidden gem restaurant off the beaten path** …put **52 Ridge Restaurant and Pub** at the top of your list. It may not show up on Google Maps properly yet, but it absolutely deserves a spot on your must-try restaurant list. The portions are generous.. They also have a kids menu that I should have ordered from 😆

What a beautiful place. We were staying in a hotel near by and this was the only open place. I'm glad we came. The food is amazing for a restaurant in a camp side and so was the service. We walked in right before closing and they gave us service and food as of we were the first customers. Definitely would recommend.

This restaurant has a very large screen tv plus two other tvs by the bar. A very cool long seated bar. Large indoor and outdoor dining. Outside is the pool. Indoors there is a pool table to play at. Country music is what is playing. Good selections.

The live music was Great! But we were at the bar for 20 mins, on our anniversary night out before we were asked if we wanted drinks. And it wasnt from the bartender. It was pretty dead. 3 tables & the 3 outta 4 people at the bar, we knew & sat with! When the bartender was finally asked to serve us, her smile was so fake & she seemed inconvenienced by us. We had 1 drink & left. We definitely won't be going back.

What a surprise coming back 30 years later and seeing how far this place has come. Great new chef, amazing prime rib last night, vegetables, Yorkshire puddings all was amazing. This will be my go to place now.

Just a couple minutes from the highway, we found this gem in the middle of a campground. Was happily surprised how delicious the food were. We ordered the burger (group's fave), beef dip, chicken wings, fried dill and Ceasar drinks - everything was excellent. Customer service from Shar was also superb. If you're in or passing by Clearwater, get yourself a burger ;)

Very nice place where to have dinner and spend time with friends. We were on vacation in Canada and, as Italian guys, we wanted to try Italian dishes: it was a great experience. Large portions, large TV, large pool table. So: good people, good food, good time. Thanks a lot!

Fantastic food and service experience. Love these unassuming gems that deliver way more than expected. The best wings we’ve ever had. Perfectly fried, not greasy at all and the crisp was next level. Real deal fries, double fried. A …
