- Food items including pizza, hash browns, and chicken were found in the hot‑holding unit past their indicated use by times as shown on the time label slips. All expired food items were voluntarily discarded by the operator during the inspection. PHI provided education on the proper application of Time as a Public Health Control, emphasizing accurate monitoring, and timely disposal to ensure food safety.
