    • 10. Is cleansing and antisepsis of skin and mucous membrane performed in accordance to written procedures and are suitable products being used?
      • - Cleansing of the skin is not being done prior to waxing. Ensure cleansing is done prior to waxing.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • -A new pre-empt CS20 was acquired.-A new Pre-empt RTU was acquired.- Equipment is not being fully immersed in the high-level disinfectant during the disinfection process. Ensure equipment is fully immersed in solution.
    • 26. Are cosmetic products appropriate for their intended use and being handled properly?
      • - Steps are not being taken to protect the contamination of the bulk supply of Pedicure scrub. Please ensure that measures are put in place so pedicure scrub is dispensed without contaminating the bulk supply.-Single use implements were not being used to dispense product; scoops were being stored inside the product. Ensure that scoops are not stored inside product and only single use implements are used to dispense product.
    • 31. Are sinks accessible and used appropriately for the personal services provided?
      • - Handwashing was occurring at a sink used for equipment reprocessing. Ensure that there is a separate sink available for reprocessing tools or a written procedures is developed for a dual purpose sink.

      • Aug 2025: Written procedures for client care in case of accidental cut and puncture and cleansing of skin were not available. Previous inspection: No written procedures available for waxing and lash services

Ensure semi-critical must be cleaned and disinfected using, at a minimum, a high-level disinfectant.- Personal services workers are not following all of the disinfectant manufacturer's instructions for use. Ensure manufacturer’s instructions are being followed.- Equipment is not being fully immersed in the high-level disinfectant during the disinfection process.
