    • 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
      • The flow meter was stuck and not reading. Repair or replace to ensure flow can be measured.
    • 14. Is the pool maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, good repair and are temperatures being properly regulated?
      • The finish of the west wall of the pool basin is bubbling and blistering rendering it difficult to clean. Refinish the basin wall to ensure that the finish is smooth, in good repair and easy to clean. Owner stated they are planning to repair the wall in December.

      • A set of vise grips was affixed to the salt chlorine cell to address a leak. This was noted during the last inspection in April and the operator stated a replacement was to be installed. Advise replacement timeframe as soon as possible.
    • 14. Is the pool maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, good repair and are temperatures being properly regulated?
      • The finish of the west wall of the pool basin is bubbling and blistering rendering it difficult to clean. Refinish the basin wall to ensure that the finish is smooth, in good repair and easy to clean. Provide an estimated time frame for repair to the basin.

      • 1. The flow meter float was stuck and did not return to 0 GPM when the pump was turned off. Clean and reinstall flow meter. If the flow meter cannot be repaired install a new properly working flow meter.2. A set of vise grips was affixed to the salt chlorine cell. The pool operator stated that this was to address a slight leak. A new salt cell has been ordered to replace the leaking one. Ensure replacement is installed.

      • The microbiological water sample submitted on 23 Feb 2024 and 28 Feb 2024 was unsatisfactory: HPC 3810 CFU/mL and HPC 540 CFU/mL. Take all necessary action to ensure microbiologically safe water. Submit a new microbiological water sample at your earliest convenience once the water chemistry is balanced.

      • Actual ORP was higher than the set point. Review set point so that it is adjusted to ensure free chlorine is maintained. Owner reviewed and adjusted the set point to 800mV to match the actual reading.

      • Free chlorine was measured at 0.10 ppm. Free chlorine residual must be at 1.0 ppm or more.
    • 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
      • The automated controller was not feeding chlorine in the pool as the ORP reading was higher than the set point. Service and adjust the controller system as appropriate to ensure the pool is maintaining the correct disinfectant concentration.
    • 14. Is the pool maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, good repair and are temperatures being properly regulated?
      • A significant scum line was noted on the pool wall just above the water level around the perimeter of the pool basin. Clean and remove the scum line.
