Great beer, absolutely stunning location but the food takes time and I am totally fine with it. I am happy to spend time sitting in their patio looking at the picturesque mountains. Only thing I think would be the least polite is that they inform while ordering food that the food is going to take an hour. I think that is the basic courtesy.

We stopped in for lunch after our fabulous ride along the KVR. I heard about the beer topped with local apple slushy. Who thought of that delicious combination? My husband had a very good curry wurst and I had a nice beet salad. Very friendly, reasonable prices and a perfect location.

We stopped by after seeing this place along the KVR. The pizza was great (prosciutto, pineapple and hot honey) and then the German burger. We had a glass of wine, G+T, their Radler, and a cider. All amazing. And I can’t say enough about the staff - thoughtful and generous. We were here mid-March and the fireplace made it cozy inside (along with a couple of dogs), and it would be even better with the sunshine and warm weather, sitting outside with the chairs and tables they have set up. Highly recommend!! Make sure you add it on your list of things to do here.

Beautiful local brewery set in the benchlands. Had a delicious blackberry brie pizza and a plum infused beer. So good. Next time im going to walk or bike the KVR to get there.

After this place was recommended by every local we talked to, we had to stop in. This place is a gem! Pizzas were delicious, with fresh and local ingredients. Beer was refreshing and it was lovely to drink some wine and look out over the grape vines. A great spot to stop for a meal or a beer while exploring the area.

Biked the KVR from castlegar to here and Owen and the crew today made us so welcome even though we were dirty and gross from 4 nights in the bush. Definitely a destination for anyone travelling via bike. Welcoming and amenable. I’d give more stars if I could for sure. Bikepackers and travellers are so welcome. Thanks homies.

Tasty mix of craft brews and pizza plus other food. Gluten free Pale Ale, IPA and GF pizza options too.

Excellent pizza. Beautiful location. The outside seating area is so nice and chill. The pizzas were so delicious and well put together. I was able to try a piece of the blackberry/goat cheese and also had some of the spicy pineapple/prosciutto. Both were delicious. All the beers were good and they have a sampler to try different ones. This is right off the bike trail and a great spot to stop.
