- There was debris in the paraffin wax warmer. The operator stated they do not clean the inside and just refill the warmer with new product. Ensure the paraffin wax warmer is regularly cleaned to remove debris. Refrain from topping off the warmer with new product. Finish the product in the warmer, then thoroughly clean, then refill with new product.
- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- 1. The Preempt CS20 expired on March 21, 2025. Another bottle expired on March 4, 2025. 2. The Cavicide disinfectant expired on March 1, 20233. The Preempt RTU spray expired in November 2025. Disinfectants must not be expired as it may affect the effectiveness of the disinfectant. Obtain a new high-level disinfectant and a low or intermediate disinfectant to disinfect client surfaces.
