    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • At time of inspection:1. All refrigeration temperatures noted were at or below 4 Degrees Centigrade - SATISFACTORY. 2. High risk food (i.e. sandwich wraps) were thawing on a counter in the main office (i.e. thawing within the temperature danger zone of 4c/40F to 60c/140F). Be advised that thawing must occur in one of the following ways:- directly in a refrigerator or- in a microwave first and then back into the refrigerator (i.e. if there is a need to rapidly thaw the food product for the next meal period).
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • At time of inspection:1. The food permit for this facility was expired - expiry was July 31, 2025.The owner / operator of this facility is requested to conduct the following, namely:1. Obtain a valid food permit and post on both coolers.

One refrigeration appliance did not appear to contain a functional thermometer within.The owner / operator of this facility is requested to conduct the following, namely:1. Ensure all refrigeration units (which contain high risk/perishable food / beverages) contains a functional thermometer.
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • At time of inspection:1. A copy of the food handling permit (where the prepared food originates) was not noted / posted within this facility.The owner / operator of this facility is requested to conduct the following, namely:1. Ensure a copy of the food handling permit (where the food originates) is posted in a location easily visible.
