A near little Mexican fast food place to try. Friendly staff. I definitely recommend the fried chicken if your into that.

Amigo Chicken and Mexican Restaurant was my 239th eatery here in Vernon. I paid $18.88 before tip for veggie mexi fries and a Jarrito Mexican Cola. The veggie Mexican fry has long and thin French fries covered in a layer of cubed tomatoes, avocado, refried beans, sour cream, and something else. The bowl was a generous portion and they put in more toppings on the Mexi fries compared to other places in town. Did you know there is a local guy who helps run the local MMA promotion who is nicknamed Mexifry? I saw him at the Balloon Glow of the Vernon Winter Carnival. Anyways, I enjoyed the taste. The menu board could be positioned a bit better or maybe my eyesight isn't the best. The male employee was very friendly and seems like a good guy. I'd come back here again. I encourage all to give it a try. 239 Vernon eateries are now complete.

Chicken and beef is phenomenal, tried the Tostada, truly authentic. Waaaay better than the fast food taco places in town.

Actually the food was pretty good for fast food style restaurant. I had the rice bowl and it had some good kick to it. Mexi-Fries were tasty and my daughter enjoyed her quesadillas. Way better than the other Mexican Food chains around.

Amazing Mexican food experience... it's our 2nd time around here we love it! The food is served sizzling hot and fresh which my fam really love about it! And the staffs are great! Highly recommended foodies! And they closed at 9pm. Yummmmmmm!!!

The ambience really stood out as well—warm, vibrant, and perfect for a relaxing meal or a night out. Everything came together to create a fantastic dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Amigo to anyone looking for great Mexican food!

We were excited to try this place and it didn’t disappoint. We had tacos and a burrito everything was fresh felt very authentic and the portions for what you pay were quite large. Definitely worth checking out. We had dinner but would be a great quick place to grab lunch also. Has the feel of nice homemade food.
