    • F2.5 Are the premises and equipment properly maintained and operated in a sanitary manner (i.e. ongoing maintenance)?
      • Observation(s): Floor is broken at the threshold of the door leading into the walk in cooler. Operator is to repair this in such a way to ensure that the surface is smooth, durable, easy to clean and suitable for purpose. 4 infractions

    • F1.2 Are proper temperature controls maintained to ensure safe storage and display of foods?
      • Observation(s): Garnishes (e.g. cut-up fruits) at the bar were kept on ice but ice were not keeping the items cold. Discussed that in order to keep the items cold, ice should be filled to the rim of the containers storing garnishes. CDI - Corrected During Inspection. Note: Temperature for stand-up domestic fridge storing mainly dessert (tiramisu) was measured at ~5C. Discussed that if the fridge gets opened and closed frequently during service, temperature should be adjusted lower to ensure it is capable of maintaining at 4C or colder. Temperature dial was adjusted by chef at the time of inspection.
    • F2.1 Does the facility have proper monitoring supplies?
      • Observation(s): 1. Chemical test strips were not available to verify the sanitizers concentration. Viper is used for sanitizing food contact surfaces, please ensure test strips for accelerated hydrogen peroxide is available. Chlorine test strips should be used to verify the low temperature dishwasher sanitizing solution. 2. Thermometer in the stand-up fridge appears to be inaccurate. Please ensure to replace with an accurate thermometer. NSF-certified thermometer is recommended. Please ensure all cold-holding units have accurate thermometers.

At the bar, wiping cloths were stored in a bucket of soap and sanitizer mixture. Reminded that soap and sanitizer should not be mixed together as the soap could neutralize the sanitizer (accelerated hydrogen peroxide) and decrease the effectiveness of sanitizer to properly sanitize. A bucket of sanitizer was re-made at the time of inspection. CDI - Corrected During Inspection.
    • F2.6 Are the premises designed and equipped to ensure safe food handling?
      • Observation(s): Existing kitchen does not have a separate designated handwashing station. Current practice is that one of the 3 compartment sink is used for handwashing only. However if re-using (e.g. during busy hours), then the container storing the items should be placed in a temperature controlled environment e.g. in the fridge to prevent bacterial growth at room temperature. These items should still be cleaned and sanitized as frequent as possible. CDI - Corrected During Inspection.
    • F3.5 - Are there handwashing stations available and properly supplied?

    • 15 - Are there handwashing stations available and properly supplied?

We loved it so much the first time we came back again on our next date night. The food is absolutely amazing, we get an extra meal because all of it is soo good we can never decide on just one dish each. The atmosphere is perfect, the live music is a nice touch, the right amount of noise and yet it feels intimate. We had amazing service and the hostess was so nice coming around to check on the tables, food came out in a good amount of time too. But seriously, the food is dream worthy. Make sure to leave room for the tiramisu, it is delicious. Also, make sure to make a reso.

It's an amazing place. Dishes were perfect especially grilled vegetables and Tiramisu. Im strongly recommend this Italian restaurant. And local Pinot Grigio is also so sweet not dry. It is good matching with the grilled zucchini and bell peper. We had a wonderful dinner yesterday.

The Spaghetti Calabrese was nice and I would recommend doing the bake with cheese option. The flavours in the spare ribs special were really enjoyable. The Mixed Greens salad was okay but not my favourite. Overall friendly service with a bit of a wait on the food but appreciated the free bread to keep the table occupied.

Delicious food with excellent service! The manager, Jessica, was extremely professional, friendly, and communicative. She responded to my voicemail in a very timely manner and was super flexible in accomodating a customized family-style takeout order for our visiting youth hockey team. The freshness and quality of the food was amazing, and a great value as well. This restaurant clearly values each and every customer and is willing to go the extra mile. A++, we will be back!

We planned a 20 guest family style anniversary party with Andiamo's. Jessica was right on the ball with every detail, whereas the other restaurant we contacted didn't even call us back. The food was fantastic and the staff was right on time for the 5 course meal planned that included a variety of pastas, salads, meat dishes along with bread and dessert. We enjoyed the family style serving. It was fun and different, causing a more intimate relaxed atmosphere. They were very sensitive to non gluten choices for certain guests by providing a delicious gluten free penne dish and even approving us bringing in a gluten free anniversary cake for the center piece. The talented piano playing in the background created a warm and welcoming ambiance. Thanks again to everyone who contributed to this memorable evening. 💖
