      • Sometime diapering done in a fashion where all children are changed in one period of time whether they are soiled or not. This is typically done before they go outside to play.Such a system prevents adequate contact time for the disinfectant on the change pad. For example, if you are changing 15 clients, it takes about 2 minutes to change, then you have to allow 2 minutes for contact time for the disinfectant. That would take one hour total if done correctly. If implementing such as system, going to a stronger disinfectant with a 1 minute contact time would half the total time as would having two change pads, then rotating between disinfecting and changing the diapering. Both methods would reduce the total time for 15 children to 15 methods.
