      • No readily available bleach/chlorine sanitizer is observed. Ensure that a bleach/chlorine sanitizer is available at all times. The operator prepared a 100ppm bleach/chlorine sanitizer during the inspection.
    • 08. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • Several ice scoops are observed to be stored in the ice machine. Ensure scoops are stored outside of the ice machine to help prevent contamination of the ice. The operator removed the scoops and placed them in a clean container during the inspection.

    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Weatherstripping or a door sweep needs to be installed for the rear door. Ensure there are no gaps of light shining through at the bottom of the door as this can be an entry point for pests into the facility.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • Unfinished wood observed behind the microwave and in both customer bathrooms (under the sinks). Please paint/seal the wood so that it is completely smooth and impervious to moisture.

      • Missing tiles and baseboard observed on wall between sinks and cook line. Please install tile and baseboards.
