- 12. Are personal services workers at the facility maintaining client records and where applicable, sterility documentation corresponding to that client?
- The sterility information (lot number and the expiry date) of the pre-purchased sterile equipment (needles, cartridges) is not being kept with that client's records. Please ensure the sterility information of the pre-purchased sterile equipment used on the client is documented with the client's forms.
- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- Disinfectant without a DIN (IPA Sanitizer wipe) is used to disinfect noncritical tools and surfaces. Please ensure at least a low-level disinfectant is used to disinfect non-critical tools and surfaces.
