- 15. Is the facility free of a pest infestation?
- Approximately 50 cockroaches in all stages of development were observed on three different pest control monitoring traps located under the dishwashing sinks and dishwasher. Live cockroaches were observed on the wall behind the dishwasher.Facility has regular, professional pest monitoring/control in place. Last inspection by the Pest Control Operator was conducted December 10, 2024. Reports were provided for review. Work with your professional pest control company to eliminate the cockroach infestation and implement an ongoing integrated pest management program for the interior and exterior the food establishment. Provide documentation from the professional pest control company to an Alberta Health Services Public Health Inspector for review.

- An area of floor located under the dishwasher was damaged and lifting. Remove the damaged area of floor and replace with new flooring that is smooth, non-absorbent to moisture, easy to clean, and constructed of materials intended for the purpose.

- The side of the north kitchen hand wash sink had duct tape affixed to it.Duct tape is not a cleanable surface. Remove the duct tape.

- The walls and floors in the dishwashing area had grease, soil, and food debris accumulation. The dishwashing sinks and dishwasher had grease, soil, and food debris accumulation. Hard to reach areas in the facility such as corners, edges, areas around piping had grease and food debris accumulation.Thoroughly clean and sanitize all surfaces and equipment throughout the food establishment.
