    • 14. Does the facility have an adequate supply of potable hot and cold running water and is the water sampled at required intervals?
      • Water pressure was low at the hand sink. Hot water took a long time to arrive. Ensure hand sink is repaired or replaced to have adequate hot and cold water pressure at all times.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • One dropping was noted under the 3 compartment sink area.

    • 14. Does the facility have an adequate supply of potable hot and cold running water and is the water sampled at required intervals?
      • The water pressure for the hand sink was low/poor. Increase water pressure to ensure there is adequate hot and cold running water at all times. The three compartment sink hot water took a long time to arrive. Please look into whether the speed of the hot water can arrive much sooner.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Mouse droppings were observed in cabinets and by packaging materials. It was also found in the three compartment sink cabinets. Ensure all cabinets/storage areas are thoroughly cleaned. Any food contact items such as packaging materials that have come into contact with the droppings are discarded. Investigate where the pests are coming from and take action to rectify the issue. Increase in traps in problematic areas should be in place as well. Consult with pest control technician for additional support.

    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • July 14, 2023: A plastic cover which is not smooth and easily cleanable is observed on top of the table. Ensure that the surface is repaired or replaced to be smooth and easy to clean. The table in the back corner which holds the rice cookers needs to either be repaired/ refinished (ie. sealant) or replaced due to bolts/ screws being exposed and collecting food debris and screws/ bolts beginning to rust.
