      • Some children water bottles were observed without name tags.-Please label all children water bottles with their names to prevent misuse or mix ups.

      • Dirty vent fans were observed in both facility washrooms.-Please clean the vents and ensure they are maintained in a clean condition at all times.

      • Hot water temperature was measured at 27'C during the inspection.-Please adjust and maintained hot water temperature in both bathrooms between 38 and 43'C to support proper handwashing practices.

      • Bottles of prepared chlorine solutions for disinfectant use were not labelled (n the diapering station and by the double sink near the fridge)Ensure all chemical bottles are labeled to prevent misuse.
    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • One electrical outlet was missing an outlet cover (near side exit door in play room)
    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • 1. Staff did not have test strips to confirm chlorine concentration for the prepared disinfectant used. Ensure test strips are obtained for measuring the prepared chlorine solutions.2. Diapering station- diaper vinyl surface had a rip on top surface. Please replace diaper pad.3. Diapering station- one side of the safety belt had securing device missing, corrected onsite and reaffixed. Ensure safety belt is properly working at all times.

      • Wipe cloths used with disinfectant spray bottles are re-used during the day and laundered at end of day-use. Provide a sanitizer solution in a container for soaking reusable cloths between uses.
    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • Hot water measured from washroom (washroom with the self activated faucet) was @25.4 deg CEnsure water temperature is increased to ensure warm water is available for handwashing. Recommend hot water should be between 38-49 deg C

    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • Diapering station in bathroom was visibly dirty with debris under the diapering mat. Clean and disinfect under the diapering mat.
    • 19. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Critical)?
      • Laundry machine and clorox bleach were being used to clean and sanitize toys. Toys must be cleaned, rinsed, disinfected with 100ppm chlorine, rinsed, and air dried.
