      • Quaternary ammonium chlorides (Quat) used as surface and equipment sanitizer in BAS 2. However, a suitable test strip for monitoring the sanitizer's concentration was not available.Action Required: Provide an appropriate test strip for the sanitizer and ensure regular monitoring of its concentration following dispensing.2. Label all sanitizer bottles with chemical names and concentration.

      • ** No diapering occurring at facility **No test strips available at the time of the inspection. Please purchase chorine test strips to ensure that bleach solutions are being prepared at the correct concentration of 100 ppm.
    • 21. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Critical)?
      • There was no hot water coming from any of the taps at the time of the inspection. Please ensure that the hot water issue is resolved, and that taps are maintained at or below 54 (recommended 49) degrees Celsius. All hand sinks and toy washing sinks are required to have hot and cold running water to ensure that staff and children are washing hands properly, and that toys are being cleaned adequately prior to sanitation.
