      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Repackaging area handwash station did not have single use paper towels.
      • Corrective Action(s): All handwash stations must be accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels. Single use paper towels were replaced at the time of inspection.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Facility had numerous food items in the cooler and freezer from unknown sources. Staff stated the food was for the owner's personal consumption.
      • Corrective Action(s): All foods for personal consumption must be stored in a designated area and labelled for personal consumption. Foods were moved to designated areas at the time of inspection.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 4 large plastic containers of spices were stored in the washroom.
      • Corrective Action(s): Do not store any food items in the washroom. Washrooms are unsanitary. Spices were moved out of the washroom at the time of inspection.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Washroom handwash station had a reusable cloth towel.
      • Corrective Action(s): Handwash station must be accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels to facilitate proper handwashing. Cloth towel was removed at the time of inspection.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Bleach was too strong - test strip bleached out.
      • Corrective Action(s): Bleach must be maintained between 100ppm to 200ppm. Concentrations in excess of 200ppm may be toxic for human health. To prepared 100ppm to 200ppm bleach, add 1/2 teaspoon bleach per litre of water. Bleach was diluted to 200ppm at the time of inspection.

      • Observation: Bleach sanitizer spray bottle was not labelled at the time of inspection.
      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure all spray bottles are labelled to identify their contents to prevent accidental mixing and/or misuse of chemicals. Check label on a regular basis and relabel as needed.

      • Corrective Action(s): Food items are held and cannot be removed or sold. Provide invoices for all products in the store which are unlabelled and/or do not have supplier information.

      • Observation: No bleach available in the facility to sanitize scoops for repackaging
      • Corrective Action(s): In order to repackage foods, facility must have a sanitizer to sanitize food contact surfaces and scoops/utensils.

      • Observation: Large amounts of foods (pastries, meats, pickled foods) in the upright freezers and upright cooler were found in the facility without labels and packaging such as zipper seal bags, plastic containers with packaging tape, take out clamshell containers with tape. This is a reoccurring violation.
      • Corrective Action(s): All foods sold in the facility must be from approved sources. All foods which are repacked must have the name of the product along with any contact information and storage information.

      • Observation: The following items were found without labels and operator did not have invoices:
      • -1 container of Qaimer
      • -9 containers of pickled cauliflower/turnip
      • -39 containers of vegetable curry
      • -24 containers of pickled cucumber
      • -3 container of pickled lemon
      • -1 box of loose sausages
      • -Numerous food items in zipper seal bags
      • Corrective Action(s): -All foods sold in the facility must be from approved sources to ensure they are prepared in a safe and sanitary manner. Food items must be properly labelled to identify the product and supplier or invoices must be made available to prove the are from approved sources.
      • -The following are being stored on the bottom shelf of the cooler to be returned to the supplier: 9 containers of pickled cauliflower/turnip, 39 containers of vegetable curry, 24 containers of pickled cucumber and 3 container of pickled lemon.
      • -Container of Qaimer has been removed from the cooler.
      • -Remaining products will not be sold until the operator is able to provide invoice to prove the source of the products.

      • Observation: Numerous food items were found without labels or in ziplock bags. Unable to determine the source of the products.
      • Corrective Action(s): All food items sold in the facility must be from approved sources and have labels indicating the supplier, supplier contact information, and ingredients, including potential allergens. Operator to stop selling foods from unapproved sources until invoices are provided for all food items. Items which do not have invoices cannot be sold

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): The hand washing sink in the washroom had bar soap.
      • Corrective Action(s): The operator replaced the bar soap with a liquid soap bottle at the time of inspection. Bar soap can only be for personal use. They must not be shared between staff members.

      • Observation: Several frozen baked goods were unlabelled and packaged in clear bags. The operator provided a hand written reciept of the products in question. The vendor's contact information was not written on the reciept. Operator provided the vendor's business card.
      • Corrective Action(s): Contact the vendor to obtain invoices that include the manufacturer's contact information. Food items must be labelled as per the Health Canada label requirements. Date to be corrected by: July 23, 2021
