      • -Personal Services workers lacked the skills and knowledge to perform their duties in a safe and sanitary manner; they were not able to classify equipment as non-critical, semi-critical and critical; and they were not following manufacturer’s instructions.

      • Jan 14, 2025- No single-use towels were available near the handwashing sink. Hand soap was available.The operator must sure that single-use towels are stored near the handwashing sink in a sanitary way.Jan 13, 2025-There were no handwashing supplies available at the sink. Please ensure that liquid soap and single use towels are available at all times.

      • Jan 14, 2025-Barbicide (a low-level disinfectant) was being used to disinfect semi-critical equipment (tweezers) used for Lash extensions.-No disinfectant was available to clean environmental surfaces in the service area.-Caviwipes stored in the Aesthetics room were in use past their expiration date.The operator was advised to acquire a high-level disinfectant for disinfecting semi-critical equipment and at least a low-level disinfectant to disinfect environmental surfaces.**The operator needs to acquire test strips for testing the concentration of the high-level disinfectant if the operator wishes to reuse the disinfectant for 14 days.**A high-level disinfectant log must also be maintained in case the disinfectant is reused.Jan 13, 2025-No disinfectant was available to disinfect hard non-porous surfaces in the hair service area.

      • Reprocessing of non-critical tools was occurring in the sink used for washing hair.The operator was not decontaminating sink before reprocessing non-critical tools.
